What I want to do is provide fundraising opportunities for all groups that need to raise funds but don’t have a lot of money to buy stock or people with time to go out to source the things needed for the day. We want to help as many charities and community groups as we can,

Hi my name is Paul and I have spent the last 20 years working in an office developing skills that can help the community that has helped me.

My wife and I started The Mobile Event Office, it was our way of helping small business to keep operating if they could not use their own office. This evolved into a few variations of uses, like The Mobile Change Room, for those who need a change room and make up area on site and after talking to a few people, we had the idea for the Fund Raising Drinks Van.

While my wife and I were bringing up our 3 children we were always working on fundraising committees, things  like chocolate drives, sausage sizzles, fetes, car boot sales, and they all had one thing in common – a few did most of the work and it was hard organizing everything.

The Fundraising Drinks Van is a better, easier and possibly a more healthy option to the normal fundraising activities that community groups, charities and schools have access to.

With one call to us, this fundraising opportunity can be arranged with no outlay, no minimum purchase and no excess products to worry about.

What we aim to do is to provide a renovated caravan or food trailer with fridges and pre-packaged water and soft drinks to these charities, community groups, etc.

These groups will supply the labour on the day, to sell the drinks and we share the proceeds, up to 40% per can or bottle sold.

If required, The Fundraising Drinks Van team, can “man” the van and still provide a smaller share of the proceeds (up to 20%), or the group will be able to hire the van only (no stock provided) for a fee for the full day

The organizers will not have to worry about arranging for enough eskys, ice, what drinks to buy (home brand or name brand), they don’t have to have a food handlers certificate, because all the products are pre-packaged. They don’t have to worry about putting up a tent for shelter.

We do it all for them.

Once the van is booked The Fundraising Drinks Van team, will deliver everything needed on the day to the location, the drinks will be cold and ready to serve.

All that is needed is to choose what is to be sold from our list of products prior to the day. The list includes water, Coca Cola products and Pepsi products.

At the end of the day we come along and take the excess stock and van away.

The Fundraising Drinks Van can be used for any occasion that a cold drink is required. Events like markets, fetes, fun runs, car shows, bike rides, almost any reason, almost anywhere, almost anytime.

This is where the crowd funding can help,  we have done a little market testing and everyone I talk to believes it’s a great idea, but I am getting to them to late, they have already arranged the drinks but they promise to use the van next year. So with the warmer months fast approaching we need to get ready and get the word out. We plan to start in the goldfields region of Victoria and once the business model is working we can then expand into other areas.

We need your help to get the marketing structure in place to let everyone know we are here and to get the website more user friendly. I would also like to get some more legal advice to ensure that everything is done correctly. Any left over money will be used to purchase another van to help more community groups and charities.  Each van/trailer will cost approx. $12000 get on the road. That includes purchase, fit out, fridge, stock, insurance and registration.

We have a van on the road under the banner of The Mobile Event Office. This van will have a name change to The Drinks Van to help people find it on Facebook and the web.
