Livewire Global, Inc.

Innovative Ticketing Kiosks in Retail Locations

Quick Pitch

LiveWire Tickets is an innovative new ticketing agent, selling discounted ski lift passes and white water rafting tickets via touch screen kiosks located in both major retailers and mom and pop stores – thereby saving consumers not just money, but also time and frustration. After stuffing your car full of equipment, driving for hours up into the mountains, and finally unloading kids, skis, poles, snowboards and boots, the last thing you want to do is stand in line at the ticket office. You want to hit the slopes!Already, we have over 100 retail locations scattered throughout Colorado, California and Nevada, providing our loyal and growing customer base with a truly convenient ticketing solution to more than 20 different major ski resorts.

An Aging System

Each year the skiing and snowboarding population median age is increasing, an indication to many in the snow sports industry that it is time to get creative and proactively recruit children and young adults to the slopes. As such, many ski resorts are adding new and expanded youth-targeting features, like the new Toy Story-themed terrain park at Jay Peak in Vermont. However, features such as these rely on the assumption that the mountains will call to the kids before they ever see an 8-foot wooden Buzz Lightyear. LiveWire Tickets seeks to go to the root of the problem, and get skiers and snowboarders – and their kids – excited for the slopes while doing their every day shopping.

In these modern times, it is no longer reasonable to expect people to withstand the inconvenience of waiting in long lines to buy tickets. LiveWire Tickets brings the power of instant gratification to the winter sports industry by offering discounted direct-to-lift ski passes.

A Modern Solution

LiveWire Ticket kiosks save our customers both time and money, allowing them to completely bypass the ticketing line at the ski resort while they’re juggling equipment and children. By simply visiting one of our retail locations, they can purchase discounted, non-tearable tickets enabling customers to head directly to the ski lift. (To the left: Sports Authority Kiosk)

How We’re Different

Our proprietary software is a leader in the industry, providing unparalleled convenience and value to our customers while seamlessly interfacing with existing ticketing systems and providing backend processing. While there are a number of websites allowing skiers and snowboarders to purchase their tickets ahead of time, they must still wait at will call when they reach the resort, rendering the service practically useless. LiveWire Tickets truly offers a unique discounted lift pass sales destination.

Digital Screen Advertising

This summer we successfully completed development of a digital screen-advertising platform that integrates with our kiosk servers to enhance product awareness and drive additional revenue through advertising. Due to our prior experience in deploying advertising technologies, LiveWire Tickets will gain valuable national advertisers.

Accomplishments & Aspirations

Our management team has over 18 years experience in kiosk deployment and technology, which has served us well in developing the LiveWire Tickets brand. To date, we have over 80 kiosks located in Sports Authorities, REI, Specialty Sports Venture, WalMart, and various “mom and pop” stores throughout Colorado, California and Nevada. Additionally, we have more than 20 locations including Albertsons and Best Western that offer our ski lift passes over the counter.

Earlier this summer we finalized contracts and implemented sales of white water rafting tickets in our existing kiosks.

LiveWire Tickets projects to deploy an additional 100 kiosks within the next 12 months into retail locations in the Northeastern United States to represent a new region of tickets sales and growth opportunity.
