dcuisine delivers 100% all natural great tasting frozen soups and entrees direct to consumers and received its seed capital from Sam Metzger, the entrepreneur behind Chipwich, the beloved chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich.

Our Website went live April 2013, and now generates revenue in 49 states with a reorder rate over 27%. Approximately 80% of our revenue is derived from rural and suburban areas, where food delivery is limited and not serviced by GrubHub, Munchery etc.

We are pleased to report operating cash flow of (8k) for 2014. Cooking is outsourced to a partner/investor that employs 400 people at 12 locations across the country. We are scalable with infrastructure in place to support up to $20 million in sales.

Use of proceeds for this round will be entirely for customer acquisition. To date we have grown exponentially via organic means with very little customer acquisition spend.


Sam Metzger, Executive Chairman

Mr. Metzger co-founded Chipwich, the original iconic chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich, in 1980. The company sold over 1 billion Chipwiches and the brand was purchased by Nestle in 2002. He then co-founded Food Development & Marketing, a manufacturer of all-natural, microwaveable, frozen meals. Through this venture, he licensed the Canyon Ranch brand and sold its frozen meals through QVC innovatively using UPS. Mr. Metzger graduated from the College of William and Mary and went on to earn a degree from New York University School of Law.

Chef Ken Arnone, Co-founder & Certified Master Chef

Mr. Arnone is one of only 67 Certified Master Chefs in the U.S. – the highest and most demanding level of achievement of all American Culinary Federation certifications. Mr. Arnone has a breadth of experiences across the food industry, including acting as a consultant to top restaurants and international brands and co-authoring “Pairing with the Masters, A Definitive Guide to Food and Wine.” Mr. Arnone is a graduate of, and was a professor at, the Culinary Institute of America.

Thomas Metzger, Finance & Development

Tom currently serves as the Vice President of dcuisine.com. He founded TGC Associates LLC, an advisory and consulting firm, which worked on the acquisition of asmallworld.com from Harvey Weinstein and several projects in the lottery and gaming sectors. He spent almost ten years in Corporate Development for Scientific Games, and started his career as an investment banking analyst at Bear Stearns. Tom holds a B.S. in Finance & International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
