Cruxcee is the only business network that connects social enterprise to global supply chains.
It’s the 21st century, and consumers have changed. Gone are the days when all people cared about was what they were buying — today’s socially conscious consumers care about who they’re buying it from, and what that organization stands for, particularly when it comes to crucial points like environmental impact, employee working conditions and social values.
This now forces companies and governments globally to think about the way their procurement practices and supply chains impact the world.
For social enterprise, this is GREAT news: it means that now they can take control of the conversation and contribute towards changing global supply chains for the better.
But being a social enterprise in today’s economy is not without its challenges. From limited opportunities, small profit margins, reliance on donations, lack of resources, inefficient operations and inadequate infrastructure, these awesome organizations are too often faced with a mountain of obstacles standing between them and the difference they want to make in the world.
At Cruxcee, we believe social enterprises are the forces that will change the way the world does business. But we also know that, in order to do it, they need access to markets that can help them get there, and with Cruxcee, we’re setting out to provide that access.
Cruxcee is a business network like any other such as Ariba, Tradeshift etc etc, the difference is that our goal is to connect our social enterprise suppliers to B2B procurement opportunities.
Buyers can be any organisation in the world that has a product or service they require to be fulfilled.
Suppliers are either legal entity or certified social enterprise that have the capacity to provide commercial solutions.
On Cruxcee, buyers can post up request for quotes, supply contract offerings, tenders etc, of which is then matched to our suppliers based on categories and criteria. This then gives the social enterprise suppliers the opportunity to bid for the work.
Everybody wins, buyers get to purchase what they need at a competitive price plus the added benefit of social value. Suppliers get new sources of revenue that helps them build capacity, become self sustaining and have more resources to pursue their mission.
Don’t forget social enterprise have procurement needs also and can supply their own organization through Cruxcee too!
With Cruxcee, every social enterprise can access opportunities to help them make a difference in the world. And we’re committed to putting our money where our mouth is: for every transaction that is completed on Cruxcee, we donate a percentage of the revenues to non-profits that align with our mission of improving the impact that business has on the world.
