BENEFITING: GIVE2ASIA
The Primary Health Care and Resource Centre is a small community based clinic located in Chapaguan, Nepal (approximately 2 hours from Katmandu). They provide primary care services to the townspeople of Chapaguan. While they treat patients with a wide variety of illnesses (chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes; infectious disease, minor trauma, and dental), their chief focus is at the heart of Nepal’s medical needs, specifically, maternal-fetal medicine. The clinic provides support, but must grown to meet the needs of the village and surrounding region. This clinic is not a government clinic, but is a clinic supported and run by the community members. It represents a model for other villages in the region, through Nepal, and the developing world.
SUPPORT OUR MISSION BY CREATING YOUR OWN FUNDRAISER.Ever wonder how all those amazing nonprofits groups in India, Thailand, Indonesia, China and elsewhere in Asia manage to stay afloat? After all, it takes more than good will to feed the hungry, help the poor, and heal the sick. Give2Asia is dedicated to helping these groups stand on their own, and one way to do that is to connect them with people like you who want to help and have the resources to give. In one sentence: We connect people in the US with small grassroots organizations all over Asia.
