Drake Fund Annual Campaign: All Hands on Deck!
With your help, we support academic, athletic and community needs at Drake. We ask each family to donate $500, but welcome all support levels. We want 100% family participation!
The Drake Fund is a volunteer parent group that raises money to cover crucial academic and athletic needs not met by district, state or federal funding. We also host events that foster a sense of community and that celebrate our students, faculty and staff.
Thanks to the support of people like you, we had a very successful year last year. We were able to provide more than $115,000 in academic grants, funding everything from guest artists for the Music department to graphing calculators for the Math department to new equipment for the student newspaper, the “Jolly Roger.” We also funded over $70,000 in athletic requests, which included our terrific—and much-needed—athletic trainers.
We hope for another successful year this year and thank you in advance for your generosity towards the students of Drake High School.
Donations by Check
While we prefer donations by credit card, we are happy to accept checks as well. Please complete a Campaign Donor Form and mail it along with a check made out to “The Drake Fund” to The Drake Fund at 1327 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., San Anselmo, CA 94960.
Should you wish to set up a monthly donation, please select the “Contribute Each Month” check box on the left hand side of the Donation pop up box, enter the amount, etc. Your monthly donation will be processed on the same date each month. You will receive an email a few days prior to this date each month allowing you to make changes as needed.
Company Matching Programs
Large corporations and a number of small to mid size companies have programs where they will match an employee’s donation to a nonprofit organization, often by donating the same amount or more. Some companies will even match retirees or spouses.
If your company has such a program, request a matching gift form and send it completed and signed with your receipt or check. We will do the rest!
