Rimiclip: Child Cabinet Lock

RIMICLIP is the INSTANT, no tools, no screwdrivers, no screws, no damage, child-resistant cabinet lock!

My name is Erik Hansen, I’m a designer, inventor, maker, and builder… which makes me the guy my friends and family call to fix their stuff! So when all my friends started having babies, I became the person they all called to install their cabinet locks… I found that I needed drills, screwdrivers, screws…….

I had to believe there was an easier way!

So I invented the Rimiclip…

Rimiclip installs INSTANTLY on almost any cabinet, requires absolutely NO TOOLS OR SCREWS, and causes NO PERMANENT DAMAGE to your cabinet doors or frames!

To bring the Rimiclip to market, we NEED your support.

We have created 6 reward levels that will provide you with 3, 6, or 12 Rimiclips (early or standard delivery, free shipping). Your support will also give us the traction we need to get Rimiclips to the widest possible market.

Our design is final, and we are ready to go to production. Once we hit our financial target we will go directly to our manufacturing partner and get Rimiclips produced! The Rimiclip will be 100% produced in the USA.

The pictures you see below are not renderings, they are physical prototypes. We have moved past the concept phase, and are ready for production.

We are ready to go!

Think about a set of Rimiclips for grandma and grandpa’s house… or a spare set to keep in the car when you might end up at a friend’s house for too long… or even a hotel room. Have a rental property? Throw some in the drawers in case your tenants have toddlers. Are you renting your house? Make sure to have some on-hand so you don’t damage cabinets that aren’t yours and risk losing some of your deposit money!
Please pre-order today!

If there is one thing every new parent DREADS, its baby-proofing their kitchen cabinets, because it is the single MOST DIFFICULT thing that you HAVE to do to protect your kids.

The Rimiclip changes all that…

Simply put the clip on the door…

Slide the arm into the slots on the back of the clip, and close the door…

If the arm bumps into the frame, adjust the arm to a lower setting until it closes.

If the arm doesn’t catch on the frame when closed, adjust the arm to a higher setting until it does catch.

That’s it!

Now to open your cabinet, just open the door slightly and depress the arm a little bit until it clears the door.

Easy for parents, not so easy for kids…

Rimiclip is strong and stays put. The soft rubber lining protects your doors and cabinet frames while also providing plenty of grip.

Rimiclip works on any cabinet with a lip. Your cabinets probably have a little edge underneath just like this picture below illustrates.

*If your cabinets do not have this lip, then unfortunately this version will not work on your cabinets, however we have not forgotten about you! We have plans to design a future version that you can use as well. Your support for this version will help us get there that much faster!

We are already in talks with several injection molding companies here in the USA that are eager to help us bring the Rimiclip to market. All final engineering, mold making, and manufacturing for the Rimiclip will be done right here in the USA, so you can be sure that your contribution will be directly supporting the American manufacturing industry!

We designed a distribution model for this crowdfunding campaign that we feel is reasonable and realistic. We know that with any new product launch, there are issues that will inevitably come up, and we don’t want to have to provide our generous backers with apologetic update emails explaining delays.

Therefore, our delivery schedule is as follows:

Are we going to patent the Rimiclip?

Yes! We are happy to report that the Rimiclip is already Patent Pending.

Thanks for your support! Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions, and I will do my best to respond as soon as possible.
