Express Med Pharmacy Services is a family-owned and operated licensed pharmacy and leader in the Tri-State area as it relates to ancillary pharmacy services. Established in 1998, Express Med Pharmacy Services provides a wide range of prescription and non-prescription drugs and pharmacy-related services through its Long Term Care, IV Home Infusion, Outpatient Specialty Retail, and Pharmacy Benefits Management departments to facilities/organizations (B2B/B2G), employers (B2B/B2G), and patients (B2C) alike, locally, regionally, and nationally.
With a strong backbone of over 75 employed professionals, Express Med Pharmacy Services is a fully-licensed and CHAP accredited company with a highly-competent and proficient workforce.
In 2012, as a result of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, development began for our most exciting service offering to date: the my- medPak™ Medication Management Program. This program prompted the expansion of our long term care service from a facility-based setting to include a community-based setting as well. We set out to make a local name for ourselves with a motto based on quality service, and after 16 years in operation we are now eager to take the business to the next level.

Services
Our services are focused on flexibility and improving the quality of life of each person we serve, while reducing the cost to the payor of the pharmacy bill through various medication therapy management approaches. The Express Med Consultant Pharmacy Services department provides direction and oversight on all aspects of the acquisition, disposition, handling, storage, and administration of drugs to applicable facilities and patients.
Mr. Liberati serves as President and CEO of Express Med Pharmacy Services, where he is responsible for providing leadership, management, and guidance to increase revenue in the competitive pharmaceutical environment, developing operational strategies, and identifying new and emerging niche market opportunities in the health care market. Mr. Liberati is well-versed in staff management, strategic planning, fiscal and project management, business expansion/startup, and organizational and e-commerce development. He earned a Masters of Public Management Degree with a concentration in Healthcare Management and Systems from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Computer Science with a concentration in International Finance and Informational Systems from Duquesne University. Mr. Liberati has remained active in serving as a volunteer in both local and national charitable organizations throughout the last decade.
Eric Danielson is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Express Med Pharmacy Services. Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Danielson plans, directs, monitors, coordinates, interprets, and administers all functional activities and policies related to finance, accounting, budgeting, reporting, provider reimbursement fees, insurance, and financial analysis. Other responsibilities include serving on the company’s strategic growth planning board and serves as Chairman of the company’s activities committee. Mr. Danielson has over 20 years’ financial experience in the health care industry. Mr. Danielson is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Marasco has been with Express Med Pharmacy Services since 1998 when he began as Director of Pharmacy Operations. His numerous responsibilities included developing long term care and mail order workflow to improve efficiency and quality assurance; creating a clinical pharmacy program for a 600-bed skilled nursing facility; recommending appropriate drug therapy to physicians, monitoring therapy per protocol, and initiating formulary substitutions; compounding prescriptions, preparing intravenous medications, and performing order entry; and managing ancillary staff in fulfilling more than 700 prescriptions per day, among other duties. In his current role as COO, Mr. Marasco oversees all pharmacy department operations such as billing and accounts receivable, dispensing and fulfillment, data entry, DME/HME, infusion, purchasing and returns, delivery, shipping, and receiving. Mr. Marasco earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from Duquesne University.
Jacob Mortimer is Express Med Pharmacy Services’ Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Mr. Mortimer’s experience includes applications development, infrastructure management, telecommunications, program office management, security and privacy oversight, and information support management. He has been accountable for internally and externally managed and hosted application and infrastructure services. As CTO for Express Med, Mr. Mortimer is accountable for applications and infrastructure supporting all business functions, including clinical management systems, point of care systems, data-mining and reporting systems, security services, networks, as well as all servers and data centers. Current priorities include product development support, advancement and research projects, cyber-infrastructure, virtualization, project management practice implementation, increase in revenue through market expansion and horizontal resource management, and application optimization.
Mr. Chileski brings more than 15 years of leadership in sales, marketing, and management in the health care and financial industries. Mr. Chileski began his career as a Retail Pharmacist with Giant Foods before joining a start-up institutional pharmacy provider. Mr. Chileski used his comprehensive knowledge to help form Express Med in 1998. He went on to expand his sales, marketing, and management background with positions within the pharmaceutical arena. After almost seven successful years with two Fortune 500 Corporations, Mr. Chileski transitioned to a permanent position with Express Med. Mr. Chileski has been influential in diversifying the company into other areas and now oversees the sales and marketing department.
