Why did you start Pipeline Wizard?

Pipeline Wizard (www.pipelinewizard.com), founded by Jesse Garcia, Rochelle Garcia and Praneel Kumar, was created to assist real estate sales professionals set prospecting goals, track lead generation activities, map conversion ratios and produce “result metrics” pertinent to the agent’s business.

The idea was born when Jesse closed his first real estate transaction. With a desire to understand how his commission check was calculated, where each fee was distributed and how much he should budget for taxes and business expenses, Jesse began to sketch out formulas to help keep track of every action and every penny. As his business grew he needed to track more in-depth data in relation to past, current and future transactions for budgeting and business planning. Jesse further analyzed income projections, production trends and sources of business. One key equation in this application is tax budgeting. From the beginning of Jesse’s real estate career, his CPA advised him to set aside a certain percentage of each commission for quarterly tax payments so he wasn’t surprised or playing “catch up” in the third or fourth quarter. By incorporating these strategies and implementing this system Jesse’s business became more predictable and stable.

Jesse Garcia began a real estate career with Keller Williams Realty in 2006 while still working as an officer with the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department. In 2008, during one of the most challenging real estate markets, Jesse resigned from his employment with the sheriff’s department to focus on his passion; business and real estate. In his first full-time year Jesse joined the top 10% of a 225 agent office and was soon asked to serve on the Agent Leadership Council. Concurrently, Jesse founded the Business Network International (BNI) Elk Grove Harvesters chapter which he served as President for two years. This chapter has referred in excess of $1M in closed business to its members and is still active today. Based on his work ethic, leadership and results Jesse was asked to lead two Keller Williams franchises in the Sacramento area as CEO. Under Jesse’s leadership, these offices produced an average annual sales volume of $134M and recruited over 143 agents.
