M. Bottiglieri is a unique, quickly-known and rising designer fashion brand based in New York City and Rome and specializing in truly luxurious ‘ready-to-wear’ and haute couture versatile, staple styles for today’s fashion-forward and professional women. Its initial women’s collections are branded “la coccinella” (Italian for ‘the ladybug’).
Filling the lucrative void in women’s apparel for Luxury Essentials, a large but largely untapped market segment with enormous potential and growing worldwide demand and appeal, M. Bottiglieri is positioned to become a globally recognized name in the fashion industry in the months and years ahead.
The M. Bottiglieri line of women’s fashion has been developed in response to several key gaps in the designer fashion industry as it exists today.
First, no luxury designer brand in today’s womenswear market has ever focused primarily on offering wide-ranging and ever-innovating collections of styles for women that are true Luxury Essentials— staple/go-to styles that are easily worn separately or worn as essential pieces, paired seamlessly with the very best contemporary and designer styles worn by women today.
And second, no luxury women’s designer brand has ever focused on designing pieces that move with today’s busy, on-the-go women, and allow them to comfortably and confidently transition effortlessly from morning to afternoon to evening in one simple, timeless and sophisticated look.
Most women today live two fashion lives: they wear one outfit during the day, as they’re conquering the professional world, one meeting, memo or client at a time, then rush home or into the restroom at the office to change hurriedly into a second outfit for whatever events or occasions the evening has in store.
At M. Bottiglieri, we believe women deserve wardrobes that empower them to live their full lives as one complete, stylish and undeniable whole, wherever the clock hands stand.
And that’s exactly what we set out to create: beautiful, elegant, effortless, staple/go-to luxurious styles that inspire and empower today’s women, andtransition seamlessly from morning to noon to evening and are easily worn separately, or worn as essential items paired seamlessly with the very best contemporary and designer styles worn by women.
The M. Bottiglieri woman strikes a lovely balance between strength and femininity. She knows the feel and blend of her wardrobe, and selects pieces that allow her own creativity to shape her personal style.
The goal of M. Bottiglieri designs is to celebrate the strength, beauty and sophistication of today’s women with clean, classic, meticulously made and impeccably fitting luxury garments. Each piece is extremely soft to the skin-providing a real feel of luxury with silks, cashmeres and soft cottons- and are designed to transition comfortably and seamlessly from day to evening, and make women feel elegant and powerful, comfortable and confident, both in the workplace and beyond.
When a woman sees M. Bottliglieri’s subtle ladybug fabric medallion embroidered inside one of her garments in its special hidden (except to her) place, she knows that it stands for:

A Personal Note from a Founder
“In the wake of my father’s sickness and death in late 2009 and having myself had three death-facing open heart surgeries in my 20’s and 30’s to fix a ruptured aorta, I decided to leave the law and banking business world and pursue a different path.
So in 2010, I began to pursue my professional passion and the passion of my grandparents from Naples –luxury fashion design.
I come from a 120-year Italian design and fashion lineage, where my paternal grandfather designed luxury women’s clothing from a small town in Naples (Torre del Greco) in the late 1800‘s, and both of my grandmothers were accomplished seamstresses/dressmakers. [WE WILL ADD A PHOTO]
With my Co-Founder, Aleen Hosdaghian, we created this luxury women’s clothing label—called M. Bottiglieri—named after a first cousin of mine in Rome. I designed the line from scratch, and set out to compete with the likes of Burberry, Helmut Lang, Vince and The Row. We are meeting that competivie challenge
And we are now carrying on my family’s tradition and doing it with passion, using as a creative inspiration for some styles, some of the classic pattern constructions used by my grandfather in the 1800’s in Italy, as well as all ultra-fine Italian fabrics sourced from four of the finest and established, highly-rated fabric mills in northern Italy.
Our Spring/Summer 2015 collection is 15 styles, in black, cream, white, clay and soft pallet colors.
The brand is inspired by the warm and positive feelings engendered by la coccinella –Italian for the ladybug, and our logo is a regal ladybug.
The brand is about women feeling comfortable, elegant and powerful, both in the workplace and out on the town, with clean-lined, classic, simple, but chic, cool and elegant ‘luxury essential’ styles that smoothly transition from workday to evening and are staple/go-to styles easily worn separately or worn as essential pieces, paired seamlessly with the very best contemporary and designer styles worn by women today.
While the design is simple, each style has something uniquely beautiful about it, like delicate and elegant teardrop and rounded openings and flowing collars on our tops, gentle ladybug-wing v-cut details on our skirts tops and pant legs and dresses, French cuffs and tiny ladybug cufflinks on our button-down shirts, unique belt loops and elegant princess seams, and mother-of pearl buttons and closures.
A very cool subtle ladybug embroidery is hidden in a different place on each garment where only the wearer can see it!
